Considering the need of the society and with the aim of accelerating and increasing the confidence factor in the laboratory diagnosis of viral diseases of aquatic animals (fish and shrimp) using the most advanced molecular biology equipment and the ability to detect and test of zoonosis bacteria (common between humans and animals),investigating the microbial quality of water in the microbiology department and also measuring the amount of fungal toxins, antibiotic residues in fish and shrimp,  diagnosis of illegal dyes such as Malachite Green, Leucomalachite Green,  Crystal Violet, leucocrystal Violet, and Histamine, the amount of heavy metals in aquatic animals and their feed and products of  Livestock raw material in the analysis department, checking the amount of protein, TVN, ash in foodstuff and aquatic animals in the physicochemical department are the capabilities of this laboratory.
